Primary Project Objectives
TOPS Lab developed the Wisconsin Experimental Intersection in Madison, WI. The intersection is instrumented to enable
evaluation of various aspects of traffic signal control. Currently, eight detection systems including four video
detections systems, one thermal video detection system, two radar-based systems and inductive loops are being tested
at the intersection.
